HousePriceAI ("we", "us", "the extension") is a browser extension that helps you assess whether a UK property listing is fairly priced. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, how we use it, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and the rights you have under the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018. Please read it carefully.
HousePriceAI is operated by the developer of the extension ("the controller"). For any privacy matter, including to exercise your rights, contact us at islaam.inaam@gmail.com. We are the data controller responsible for your personal data.

Where we rely on legitimate interests, we have balanced those interests against your rights and consider our use proportionate. You can object at any time (see Section 8).
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the service providers that operate the extension on our behalf, under appropriate data-processing terms:
Some of our providers (e.g. Anthropic, and depending on configuration Cloudflare) process data outside the UK/EEA, including in the United States. Where data is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent mechanisms offered by those providers. We store your primary account and search data in an EU-region database where available.
Access to our backend is authenticated, data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS), and database credentials are held as protected secrets. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data.
Under the UK GDPR you have the right to: access your data; correct inaccurate data; erase your data ("right to be forgotten"); restrict or object to processing; data portability; and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. To exercise any of these, email islaam.inaam@gmail.com and we will respond within one month. You can delete all of your account and search data at any time by contacting us with your account email.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the UK's supervisory authority, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), at ico.org.uk.
HousePriceAI is not intended for and should not be used by anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date. Continued use of the extension after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
